Floral Style in Decatur Square

It’s no secret that I’m in love with flowers in any shape or form. The more florals I can incorporate into my daily life, the better. A couple weekends ago, I joined the Tyra Hart Designs team in Decatur Square to take some photos for their #TyraHartStreetStyle campaign, which mixes couture fashion pieces that you’d see on the runway with dressed-down street style.

This brunch-perfect combo is ideal for spring or summer! I’m wearing a floral top from the “Birthing Hips” look by Tyra Hart Designs… paired with old boyfriend jeans! (And they’re actual boyfriend jeans, in fact, which somehow fit better than most of my own jeans. How does that make any sense)?

This floral top is straight from the runway! It’s going to be available as a rental soon, along with several other designs from Tyra Hart’s previous collections. I’ve been fortunate enough to wear several of them, and they’re all absolutely wonderful! Another favorite of mine is ‘Arc,’ which I wore to the 2019 True Urban Culture Masquerade Gala. It’s got sequins galore – and pockets!

While we were having fun taking photos in Decatur Square, we met Nicoli Demar’s team. They invited us to participate in the #IAM campaign they’re working on right now. I love the positivity that they’re spreading! After a few minutes of pondering, I chose #IAMDynamic as my statement; you can check out the video on Nicoli Demar’s Instagram. Also make sure you’re following the awesome production duo behind the photography/videography, DopeNorTeria!

Meeting Atlanta creatives and entrepreneurs is one of my favorite things; it’s pretty darn cool that you can just run into people and learn about their projects while you’re out exploring the city! Is your city creative-friendly? I feel very fortunate to know so many wonderful creatives in my area!

xoxo,

Raine
