The Perfect Flowy Maxi Dress for Any Season

I’ve been planning to write a post about this perfect flowy maxi dress for quite a while, but I’ve been so busy that it got pushed back! Worry not, though, because I plan to wear it just as often in the fall as I did this summer (although I may add some leggings once the weather gets colder). Note: this post contains affiliate links.

Why is this the perfect flowy maxi dress, you ask? It follows the 3-Cs of perfect clothing: cute, cheap, and comfortable. This maxi, which is sold by Milumia on Amazon, comes in SO MANY different patterns! I purchased my first one when I was looking for a last-minute dress to wear to Doggies on the Catwalk, and as I mentioned in that post, I was incredibly impressed with the quality and fit. I ended up getting two more dresses, including this warm orange print.

They have tassel belts and buttons all the way down the front, which I love. The buttons go into little elastic loops instead of regular buttonholes, which surprised me at first. However, they’ve held up fine in the washer so far!

The fabric is light enough for hot weather, but it’s also long and heavy enough that you don’t have to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions on windy days! I’ve seen some reviews that warn about fabric being too thin/see through with some patterns, but mine have all been perfectly opaque. (Get ready for some slightly-blurry action shots – I had to take a spin)!

I love love LOVE how flowy and swishy the skirts are, but they do drag the ground a little for me (I’m 5’3). I typically wear them with wedges or heels, so it isn’t a problem. The nice thing about Amazon is that there are a lot of reviews you can check out where customers have listed their size/height/weight and how the dress fit them; that’s what I used to help me determine which size to select.

There’s also some variety in sleeve length. I currently have ¾ sleeves and short sleeves, and I like both. Having so many options can make it quite a challenge to choose just one! Make sure you click around and look at which sizes and patterns are available before you buy. In addition to the one I’m wearing in this post, you can find my other two here and here. There’s a little bit of a price range, but most are right around $30. I think it’s a great deal!
