Today I’m talking about wrap dresses, aka the perfect dresses for every type of weather. This cute wrap dress from Chadwick’s is super stylish and comfy, and it’s also long enough that wayward breezes won’t cause you any fashion faux-pas!

I actually got this wrap dress two summers back when I was looking for cute outfits for my summer secretary job. Since I’m trying to stay conscious of my grad student budget, I’ve been pulling a lot of old favorites out the closet. This dress is fantastically movable, and I don’t think it’s even possible to wrinkle it. Instant win!

To make this look more end-of-winter-appropriate, I threw on a cute little hat and wore my trusty ankle boots. The hat also helped to hide my windy-day hair, which is a major plus. It was really nice to have my legs out in the sun again after all of this cold, messy weather… you can tell it’s been awhile since they’ve seen any sun, due to the total lack of tan!

I really feel like I ended up channeling some style vibes of decades-past with this look. Maybe it’s because of the hat? Whatever it is, I’m loving it!

  1. Ponce City Market is the greatest, and your dress is too cute! As an Atlanta native who lives in DC now, I’m so jealous of your gorgeous weather.
